Short Dance Studio IGH Grand Opening March 6 & 7

The Grand Opening celebration of Wade and Jessica Short’s new Short Dance Studio building is scheduled for March 6 and 7. Located on Cahill Avenue, just south of Concord Blvd, and Cheney Trail, behind Walmart, this newly-constructed two-story building will feature multiple configurable studio rooms for dance instruction, as well as music lesson rooms and a large, multi-purpose room.

The Shorts are enthusiastic proponents of the arts, and have invited the River Heights Arts Alliance to use their facility for RHAA-sponsored art and music classes. “Finding the right venue that is available for classes at a reasonable rate, and is without scheduling headaches, is exciting for all of us here at RHAA,” says board member Michael Challeen. “This is a wonderful opportunity for anyone that is interested in art, music, and of course, dance!”

RHAA will be at the Grand Opening on Sunday, March 7, from 11 am to 5 PM. We’ll have free art activities for visitors of all ages in addition to sign-up sheets available for those wishing to get on our mailing list when youth and adult art and music classes become available.
